Darren O’Loughlin – General Manager Sales & Marketing and Military & Security Sales and Marketing Manager
Darren is responsible for sales and marketing activities for all divisions. He joined the company in May 2001 when he started working as a New Market Development Manager. He held a number of executive roles at Bruck including National Sales Manager of Industrial & Corporate and Sales & Marketing Manager of Military & Security division. Darren has an Associate Diploma in Marketing and 20 years experience in the textile industry. Prior to joining Bruck, he worked for Bradmill and Norwellan. Born in Red Cliffs, Victoria/Australia, Darren loves playing tennis and spending time with his family at weekends. He has lovely memories of the time he lived in Dallas, Texas, USA.
Michael Smith – Safety & Protective Sales & Marketing Manager
Michael joined Bruck in 2010. Michael brings extensive knowledge of performance clothing and fabrics gained over 20 years in the textile and clothing sector. During that time Michael has held senior sales and marketing management positions in retail, wholesale and manufacturing companies across very diverse market segments – workwear, hunting, laminates and mountaineering clothing and equipment. In the firefighting industry Michael is well known for his five years with laminate producer WL Gore & Associates, during which he worked to establish moisture barriers as an essential component for the protection of firefighters in structural turnout gear, gloves & footwear.
Tony Laino – Transport & Commercial Interiors Sales & Marketing Manager
Tony is the Sales & Marketing Manager for the Transport & Commercial Interiors division. He has been with Bruck since August 2009 and has brought over 20 years experience from Melba where Tony worked as Quality Manager, Account Manager and General Manager Sales and Marketing. With a Bachelor Degree in Applied Science, Graduate Diploma in Business Administration and Quality Technology Certificate Tony has proven knowledge and extensive qualification. An Australian born in Italy, Tony migrated to Australia with his family in 1966. He loves watching most major sports and especially AFL & attends to Collingwood, his beloved team, games almost every weekend. Tony is also very interested in Astronomy and the Universe.
Peter Selbie – Safety & Protective Field Specialist
Peter is the Field Specialist of Safety & Protective Division. He is responsible for the management and development of protective clothing products used in the fire services and industrial markets. Peter also manages overseas key accounts that purchase fire service/industrial protective clothing fabrics and military protective clothing fabrics. He joined the company in June 2009 and brought over 15 years experience with technical textiles from Melba Industries. Peter has a Masters Degree of Commerce from University of Canterbury in New Zealand and a Masters Degree of Business Administration from University of Melbourne. Peter lives in Hawthorn/Melbourne with his family and enjoys all sports.
