Bruck invests regularly in state of the art textile manufacturing equipment. During the last few years, for example, it has acquire a Testa Automatic Pre-Inspection machine, computer mapping equipment, cutting and wrapping system, a new paste coating line, new finishing stenters and warping & weaving equipment for antiballistic fabrics. Bruck’s technical laboratory has also recently undergone a major re-fit.
This investment in has enabled Bruck to become a globally competitive and innovative manufacturer of high performance textiles.
Bruck can weave, knit, jet dye, continuous dye, print, laminate, finish and coat an incredibly wide range of fabrics for a diversity of end uses. These include specialized fabrics using high performance fibers such as Nomex, Twaron, Kevlar, Lenzing FR Viscose, Merino wool, polyester, viscose, cotton and nylon.
The key items of equipment are under preventative maintenance schedules with the work largely carried out by Bruck’s skilled in house engineering team. Bruck regularly visits trade fairs, such as that held every four years by the International Textiles and Garment Machinery Association, and regularly visits key suppliers of textiles’ machinery, to stay abreast of new industry developments.
Bruck is a leader in advanced textile innovation, Research & Development and new product development in the areas of lamination, coating, ballistics, automotive, fire and other protective fabrics.
