The technical division is a market leader in the innovative development of advanced textiles and manufacturing techniques with extensive investment in R&D.
Bruck has introduced the use of new fibres, such as aramids, para-aramid and FR viscose to explore new innovative developments in protective (fire and chemical resistant) fabrics, phase change materials and high performance active wear systems.
An important initiative is Bruck’s leading role in the establishment of The Australian Textiles Technology Innovation Centre (ATTIC) with two major research centres, RMIT and CSIRO and The Defence Material Technology Centre (DMTC), to become a leading edge global innovator of high performance and high technical fabrics for a diverse variety of industrial and protective environmentally conscious applications.
Through ATTIC, Bruck is currently involved in major research and development projects which aim to develop highly innovative products for the security & safety and protective sectors.
ATTIC has provided a significant boost to Bruck’s Research and Development resources and market intelligence.
