XP Merino™ Fabrics

The Merino was first introduced into Australia in 1797. During the past 200 years generations of Australian Merino growers have combined careful breading; selection and innovative agricultural and production techniques to create nature’s leading performance fibre – Australian Merino.

Bruck Group is an Australian company with a 60 year heritage. Over the years Bruck has specialised in the manufacture of protective and high performance textiles and apparel fabrics. As a long standing manufacturer of Australian Merino products, we are able to expand with innovative product developments that are perfectly suited to our customers needs.

Only fine fibre Australian Merino is used for Bruck’s fabric development. Fibre counts will vary between 18.5 to 21.5 micron depending on the comfort factor that our customers request, 18.5 micron merino is used for under garments worn against the skin, 19.5 + micron merino is used for outer garments.

XP Merino™ (Xtreme Protection) has been developed from a blend of Merino fibre combined with Lenzing FR Viscose fibre. Garments provide excellent permanent protection against a range of workplace hazards, while performing to a high standard.

There is no longer a need to compromise on garment quality, look and comfort when selecting the right protection, as XP Merino™ garments and fabrics provide the ultimate protective corporate and industrial wear solution.

XP Merino™ garments are designed to be worn all day everyday as part of a practical company uniform. These fabrics are ideal for industrial and hazardous sites where there is potential exposure to hazards such as hot metal, heat, electricity, flame or fire. In many instances, the required protection against these hazards can be provided by an XP Merino™ garment, eliminating the need for changing or adding garments for extra protection.

From the managers to shop floor employees the level of workplace safety can be improved without the need for additional specialist clothing.

The XP Merino™ advantage:

  • Permanent flame retardant (FR) protection
  • Multi-protective: fire, flame, heat, molten metal, thermal, electric arc, and general climatic conditions
  • Naturally: anti static, elastic, UV protective, odour reducing
  • Maximum Comfort: breathable, temperature regulating, insulating
  • Durable: easy care, good service life
  • Image: high quality superior fabric, corporate look
  • Environmental: natural and renewable

Applications:
